Economic Empowerment for Honey Farmers in Darajat
The Madu Darajat Murni Pasirwangi program is a flagship community development initiative by Star Energy Geothermal Darajat II, a subsidiary of Barito Renewables, operating in Pasirwangi, Garut.
Through this honey-farming initiative, local beekeepers (organized under the Kelompok Tani Hutan Madu Darajat Berkah) cultivate native bees (Apis cerana) in the forests around the Darajat geothermal field, generating high-quality pure honey.
