Green Guardians

Green Guardians is our holistic climate education program equipping youth with the knowledge, skills, and resources to mitigate and adapt to climate change.

Launched in 2021, Green Guardians partners directly with teachers and school communities to transform schools into active hubs of environmental stewardship and community resilience.

Scope of Work

Tailored support to achieve Adiwiyata Award

Teacher capacity building

Access to learning platforms

Develop waste management systems

Basic sanitation and infrastructure support (incl. rainwater harvesting systems)

Facilitate knowledge transfer and collaboration with other schools

Planting endemic trees

Bakti Barito partners with the Ministry of Environment (KLH) and local governments to implement the national Adiwiyata School Program in elementary schools.

We also improve our partner schools’ physical infrastructure by funding basic sanitation and providing materials.
