In order to welcome the holy month of Ramadan, Barito Pacific Group, which includes subsidiaries such as Chandra Asri Group, Barito Renewables (through Star Energy Geothermal), Griya Idola, Petrindo Jaya Kreasi, and Indo Raya Tenaga, together with the philanthropic organization, Bakti Barito Foundation, distributed various aid to the community in the form of basic food packages, iftar meals, and donations for orphans and the poor with a total value of Rp.1,747,068,000- to help communities in various regions in Indonesia.
Overall, this program has distributed as many as 10,108 basic food packages, consisting of 38,075 kg of rice, 2,610 kg of sugar, 6,570 L of cooking oil, 1,987 boxes of instant noodles, 564 cans of sardines, 10,900 instant coffee sachets, and 2,610 boxes of tea bags. Throughout the month of Ramadan, Barito Pacific group provides 4,286 portions of iftar, 428 packages of equipment and worship facilities, reaching out to a total of 14,789 beneficiaries, among them 626 orphans. In addition, the group also prepares free transport facilities for employees and the community in collaboration with the local government.
