Scholarships by Barito Renewables
Barito Renewables, working with its operating company Star Energy Geothermal (SEG), supports education in its operational areas through the flagship Beasiswa Prestasi (Achievement Scholarship).
The program provides financial assistance to outstanding university students from communities near SEG’s geothermal assets.

Beasiswa Prestasi (Achievement Scholarship)
In 2024, SEG awarded Rp 120 million in scholarships to 12 Universitas Padjadjaran students, enabling them to continue their studies and strengthen their academic achievements.
This support continued through a dedicated partnership with vocational institutions, where SEG provided Rp 180 million in scholarships to 18 Bandung State Polytechnic (Polban) students from Bandung, Garut, Sukabumi, and Bogor—areas closest to SEG’s geothermal assets. The assistance helps students overcome financial barriers while also encouraging them to contribute back to their local communities.
