Through a range of higher-education scholarship programs, the company supports talented students—especially those from underprivileged families—so they can pursue their studies and build brighter futures.

Scholarship for Orphans and Underprivileged

Since 2021, Chandra Asri has provided full tuition support (UKT) for undergraduate (S1) and diploma (D3) students from vulnerable groups, including orphans and students from low-income backgrounds.

By 2025, 32 students from the company’s surrounding villages had received this support. The program eases the financial burden of higher education while motivating students to achieve their best.

Scholarship for Chemical Industry Technician Education and Training Program​

In partnership with the Faculty of Engineering at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University (UNTIRTA), Chandra Asri has supported the Chemical Industry Technician Education & Training Program (P3TIK) since 1998 by providing D1-level scholarships. To date, 163 students have completed this program, with 96 alumni now working in the chemical industry across Indonesia and abroad.

Polytechnic Scholarships and Job Placement Pathways

Since 2022, Chandra Asri has established a strategic partnership with Politeknik Industri Petrokimia Banten (PIPB) to develop industry-ready petrochemical talent through vocational education.

With support such as providing land for the campus, awarding full scholarships, and engaging retired professionals as teaching practitioners.

Through this initiative, nearly 100 students from surrounding communities have received full tuition, monthly living support, and a guaranteed job placement through a service bond with the company.

President Director Scholarship

In addition to these community-focused scholarships, Chandra Asri also runs the long-standing President Director Scholarship, which supports the children of its employees who demonstrate strong academic performance. 

Since 2014, 468 students have received support through this program, strengthening educational opportunity while reinforcing a culture that values learning, merit, and long-term development across the organisation.
