Coral Reef Rehabilitation

Chandra Asri Group in collaboration with local groups, is leading a successful coral reef rehabilitation program in the waters north of Pulau Panjang, Serang, utilizing the artificial coral transplantation method since 2020.

Live coral cover increased from 60.5% in 2024, up from 51% in 2022. The successful effort is critical for restoring the local marine biodiversity and ensuring the stability of the fragile underwater ecosystem.
