Impact
as of December 2024
10 Clean Water Tanks deployed for emergency dry-season relief
Geo-Electrical Surveys conducted to identify viable groundwater sources
- Long-term Borewell Infrastructure initiated to provide sustainable water access
This program was designed to tackle both the acute and chronic water scarcity challenges in Suralaya Sub-district. During the peak of the dry season, IRT provided immediate assistance by dispatching 10 tanks of clean water directly to the residents of Cisuru. To create a permanent solution, IRT then utilized advanced Geo-Electrical methods to accurately determine optimal groundwater source points. This mapping enabled the strategic construction of new borewells, establishing a sustainable clean water supply system that significantly improves the daily hygiene, health, and overall well-being of the surrounding community.
